I know most on this site will be at AAMI on Sunday, but just for info, for a good cause.

Join the Bulldogs in Novita's 'Walk with Me'
A large group of CDFC players will participate in Adelaide's inaugural 'Walk with Me' this Sunday morning, supporting Novita Children's Services.
Walk With Me is a community event that celebrates ability and encourages social inclusion for children living with disabilities and their families. It's free and all are welcome to participate. A number of CDFC players will participate in the event to be held on Sunday 12th September from 10:30am and will commence from the Trademen's Entrance gates of the Adelaide Botanic Gardens on Plane Tree Drive.
(To locate the Trademen's Entrance, enter Plane Tree Drive from Hackney Road, travel past the Conservatory Gate, travel past the Friends' Gate, then the Trademen's Entrance is the next gate on the left, at the 'bottom' of the U-shape of Plane Tree Drive.) There will be signage to indicate where to go.

Participants, including Novita clients, families, friends, clubs and supporters will take a walk around a disability-friendly route in the Adelaide Botanic Gardens. A free family fun day will be held in Botanic Park, featuring face painting, an icecream-eating competition, story telling with the use of communication boards for children with complex communication needs, sporting activities through Novita's ConnectABILITY program, and other entertainment. Bring a picnic and rug and enjoy the afternoon!
While some funds will be raised for Novita Children’s Services through walkers obtaining sponsorship, the event is also aimed at raising awareness about the needs of people living with disabilities, and encouraging community support through participation.
The Central District Football Club and Novita Children's Services first established a partnership in 2009, with Chris & James Gowans accepting roles as ambassadors to assist in helping raise awareness of the fantastic work done by Novita.
We hope to see you on Sunday supporting the players and Novita in the inaugural 'Walk with Me' event!!
