I think Central has already won by getting the week off!

(You beauty, someone else got to turn a non-central thread into something with a Central flavour!)

Anyway, back on track.... ;)

I reckon both games will be very competitive but I have chosen:

Sturt - they now have the mental edge over the Eagles.
Glenelg - too strong and experienced in finals for the gallant legs.

I'd agree that both games will probably be closer than many pundits (don't you love that word) believe.
I still reckon Sturt and the Bays would have to start as favourites, although Sturs biggest danger would be getting ahead of themselves and Glenelg their injuries. Great first round of finals footy all up.

Norwood playing so well at the moment, they could line up in WWT jumpers in the early game, win that, and then swap jumpers for the second match in which they'd ease up and settle for a close 70 or 80 point win.

(btw for maximum humour value, the "WWT" options in the polls should have read "Torrens")

Whilst I would like to think this possible, I think Kalma will now come into play, and when it does, remember you said it!

What an effort for the Mighty Leggies just to be int he finals race, let alone qualifying for the double chance.
Only one bad quarter of football against the Bays 2 weeks ago cost them the 2 points.
Expect them to grind the Bays down, then explode for a 5-6 goal win this time.

In the early game, Torrens have alot of experienced players coming back, and i reckon there will be an "upset" victory for the Eags.

Who's Kalma playing for? Is he a new recruit for the finals?

Norwood and Sturt
Norwood have surpassed just about everybodies expectations this season and I think they will continue their irrepressible form.
Sturt have been on a roll for the last month and I think that will continue.

I believe in my head that Glenelg and Sturt will win but my heart hopes for the opposite.
