Not angry, just sick of the rubbish the majority of Port Magpie (and some Power fans) go on about like the comp wouldn't survive without Port yada yada yada!!! Hardly showing that with perfromance or crowd numbers are you - which was my point in my previous post?

Your club is no different than any other so why do the majority of the Magpie supporters think that the Magpies are anymore important to the comp than any of the other 8 clubs?

My take on this is if the Norwood banwagoners who jumped on had been more than the Sturt and North bandwagoners that jumped off then the numbers would look a lot better.

On a more serious note I find it impressive that Norwood are top given that while they have had a better season they are still only 3rd and have beaten nos 2 and 2 for attendances. 8)

You could start by encouraging the feral sots on the southern terrace to not abuse and/or physically threaten opposition supporters as they file past after the game.

I would start by having an unwritten rule among the supporter base that highlights / name and shames negative influences.

I'd prefer it be a written rule. The ones who really give a crap about the club have had that as an unwritten rule for years.

Grahaml I have often heard this said by fans who wont travel out to Elizabeth. So many people say my car will get attacked or stolen .I just laugh and make the usual comment what do u drive a commodore ;) .No offence meant just a joke.
Never had my car tampered with at Elizabeth .And I kind of know not to open my big mouth out there .So when I watch footy at Elizabeth never have a problem.
Not to upset Booney (or any of my in-laws or neighbors ;) ).Me and the lad back in 2006 were followed back to the car and harassed by a couple of port fans at Alberton .Was a bad day for them
eagles hadn't kicked many goals until 3/4 time and then won by a couple of points .We just laughed at them when they said we'd never win a flag (2006 this was ;) )
Car Tampering has only happened once to me.Back when I owned a 1996 LPG Falcon a couple of years ago.Someone tried to nick the number plates in the most unlikely suburb of Unley on a footy day .Never would have thought in that Rich area someone would nick your LPG number plates.
Pretty certain one of my team leaders at work told me .He went to woodville to watch the bays and going back to his car there was a street full of cars with slashed tyres.

So in a long winded way I'm trying to say FOLKS it will happen anywhere in Adelaide on a footy day !!!

I doubt it was even that, there's a heap of attendances listed as "approx", which means think of a number and double it.
It's all the SANFL's fault.

That would help but I will add that I personally have no issues going to any ground in the SANFL.

But would I take my kids to Elizabeth ... no way in hell.

When Central dip, so will their attendace records. If they cant draw half decent crowds now, they never will. They dont have the traditional strong support base of the others. Simple as that!
