North played pretty well and took the game on through the corridor, incase anyone was wondering.

Today we are all North Adelaide supporters.

God Bless Bodhan, Daniel and the twenty one brave soldiers who took to the field yesterday.

We salute you.

Are you Holden 78 in disguise ? ;) To try and be honest about it seriously , the Cocks didnt do anything against us that seven other clubs havent tried for years now ( Centrals are good enough to stick to their own ways ) . We werent sharp and thats all it takes for South , Norwood and North to run us raggard on the turnover or of a nice juicy Umpire freeby . ONLY player quality will fix some of the rubbish that was dished up yesterday , and a little development for a few lads . Recruits anyone ?

With 3rd spot up for grabs - to show THAT lack of endeavour or desire to WORK HARD, pathetic!!!

I always support the players & rarely criticise them BUT - after that inept performance yesterday, particularly with The Bays doing the right thing by us (surely, someone told OUR players the 3/4 time score from Glenelg), that "effort" was horrible.

I hope Godden reads this ...

North kept us in the game, for much of it, by their errors & turnovers (particularly in the 1st half) - they should've won by more IMO.

Godden appears to have NO PLAN B - when things are going wrong, particularly up forward.
Sadly, I don't believe Day is up to League standard - too slow IMHO.

You can talk to the players after the game, you can say things in the media BUT...

YOU need to OWN some of it, as coach & coaching staff... we have some quality players in the 2s who deserve an opportunity before the season is gone.

I dont see enough of the Eags to really comment BUT I think they look a far more polished outfit when Salter and Broadbent play - a couple of class players like that add an edge to the side.

Very true. And Welsh to an extent as well. Was never any hiding the fact we were relying and expecting a Salter/Schulz/Hentschel to be available to really be competitive. Day, Redden, Goldsworthy etc. are not at the consistent standard that is needed yet.

Holden... not sure why you quoted me above.

Do you disagree with my statements about players & coaches?

What is the exact point of your post topsy? Given you a Nwd supporter and this is a North vs Eagles game review, clearly you are just "baiting" people? Why would you bother to be honest?

Don't worry topsy - I could see the point.

I was a Bays supporter for the day - they did the right thing, sadly, my lot couldn't

Sorry topsy should have seen "it" but I am "blurred" by that type of email / response as we actually got similar from the NAFC hierachy throughout this year in response to our own wins albeit rare this year!
