ps, well done to ben mules not only for his 150th but on his 150 game career so far as well

In the third quarter we tried to keep our half-foward line to try and run through it, but these long shots caught the wind and missed or if didn't make the distance made it hard for the deep forwards and easy for good defenders, leading to the rushed points. Conversely in the last, it looked like the Bays deliberately hit the 25-30mt mark out for their forwards to attack and make for more realistic goal-kicking chances.

Worst conditions i can recall this year but nowhere near as bad as it was looking at the beginning of the reserves....The quarters against the breeze won the game yesterday, Bays did well to keep Eagles quiet for too long in 1st and 3rd and then rubbed it in towards the end, also caught us out at least 3 times that i can think of bombing the ball long into the empty forward 50.
Trust the process.

Glenelg a top 3 side, we are about 2 onballers and a key position player short.
Noticeable again yesterday was the ability of opposition sides to score against us after our poor skill turn overs.
Eagles good against sides below them but not good enough against those above.

Spot on. With a fair bit of luck we could still finish top 3 but 4th spot is about where we deserve to be - 1 win from 6 games against the top 3 teams (the win coming against Norwood in April), 9 wins from 11 games against the teams below us.
