Why didn't J. Polec play on the weekend the SA team had off during the U18 carnival??????????????

Grocke just had to prove to R. Fuller that he doesn't need to be dropped to the reserves mid-season each year.

Always rated Polec and is a nice young kid as well, had the pleasure of speaking to him for the Messenger after he made his league debut last year.

How serious was Grocke's incident with O'Keefe, he has a bad record this year at the tribunal?

Will he get games?

Well, firstly let me preface this by saying I am a Roosters supporter so I am looking at this objectively.

On the Gowans' scale of what is allowed and goes unpunished Grocke should have no problems.

However, on the scale of some harsh penalties handed to some Eagles players this year when others involved got off scott-free such as he and Salter and his poor record then I think he is in big, big trouble.

Incidentally, again from an unbiased viewpoint, the umpiring at the Eagles v South game was appalling - in fact laughable so at least it was entertaining.

No chance at all. I was down that end and two South players were going for the ball one way and Grocke going the other. He stood his ground and I reckon the hip made contact with the head of O'Keefe. I initially didn't think it should've been a free kick - but obviously was. Not worth a report though.

Yep, I rekon Redigolo has 7ft arms to reach McKenzie from where he is.

Pretty interesting that Rowntree is even thinking about kneeing McKernan in the hip.

McKenzie looks to have the ball tucked up into his face, just as you would expect when you do the splits and being protected from hurting yourself at the same time.
.

If McKenzie was tackled around the waist but threw his head back as if he was tackled around the neck it would have been a free kick.

Interestingly the photo also shows the positioning of the umpire that was officiating in that section of the ground at the time.
