AAMI Stadium capacity cut to half? -- Adel. Oval scenario

The SANFL using Adelaide Oval and trying to get on with SACA will be a fiasco just like it was in the past.
Considering again it is just going around in a circle.

Without knowing exactly how they plan to reduce the capacity to 25K, I find myself wondering what the cost of this restructuring would be? If they are looking at dismantling the Northern grandstand, or corporate facilities at the southern end I would suspect the cost would be in the millions. Would it not cost less to just do basic maintenance on the existing structure?
It may pay to be handy insurance if the Adelaide Oval venture falls apart. Obviously I realise a long term agreement would be set up between the SACA & SANFL, but once Footy Park is reduced to capacity it doesn't leave the SANFL with an alternative if things do go pear shaped.
