Re: Bali Nine - is the death penalty justice?

This saddens me.
The mindset will be horrible knowing you are soon to be shot.

As stated earlier, I don't subscribe to the death penalty, but where was their contrition when they willingly and deliberately engaged in trafficking heroin which no doubt would have caused carnage for an untold number of lives? Even worse when you consider you need to be deaf, dumb and blind not to know what the penalty is for being caught on a drugs related charge in Indonesia?

As humans beings this is a tragic result but I have little sympathy for them.

Neither are a Peter Greste.

I've never bought into this.

Anyone who uses drugs does so are their own discretion.

Gun manufacturers are not responsible for people who use guns to kill.
The man who invented the atomic bomb is not responsible for its use.
Smoking companies are not held accountable for the millions who die (far outweighs drug deaths)

Life in prison, yes, but death.
It is against my personal morals - I don't need to convince others of what they feel constitutes the death penalty.

I won't be returning to Indonesia if this goes all the way.

Re: Bali Nine - is the death penalty justice?

The indonesian government is one of the most corrupt in the world...

The fact you can kill your family and get 8 years (this is fact). The fact the prison guards who work in the same prison as the two who are on death row smuggle drugs in and out of the prison and nothing is done. Considering you can walk down any street and get offered copius amount of drugs and nothing is done is a disgrace.
Considering the indonesian government paid A LOT of $$$$ to the Saudi Arabia to get their own off who were on death row for murder is also a disgrace, BUT they get frustrated when our government get involved... Not to mention they have let walk the biggest drug lord in the region go on several occasions is also a disgrace...
Why wait 10 years to put them to death????

No doubt what they have done is wrong and should spend there time behind bars....
We are told to respect the laws of a country you visit (which i agree with) however when that same country can't even follow their own laws how do you justify murder?

The world needs less stupid people all the more reason why these two should "go", this is natural selection in action.

1. The "challenges" of the judicial systems are well known in our near neighbours not to mention the fact that anywhere you go in our fellow Asian countries the warnings are stark about trafficking drugs, so why do it - stupid is, as stupid does.
2. I bet in the planning stages of this "expidition" 10 yeas ago a comment would've been made to get these two low lifes involved and the other seven, "They're all dumb Asian's over there and drugs are plentiful - no chance of getting caught as they're too stupid..." I wonder who is feeling stupid now.

I hope it's painfull just like was for Barlow and Chambers....

I feel for the families buit not for these two toe rags

I can't stand by and listen to this garbage any longer.

Natural selection??
Should go??

Get a grip.
They are humans.
A few of you need to take a long hard look in the mirror you are sick in the head talking about human life the way you currently are.

So easy to sit back in your chair and judge.
Because you are all so perfect.

Re: Soooooo, how's this weather?

My missus asked me this morning...

Soooooo, how's this weather?

I said 'Well I'm no weatherman, but you can expect a few inches tonight...'

It's the worst feeling in the world, I'm so sorry to hear about this. :(

I think I cried for almost 4 days straight when fat cat died. It's what happens when you lose someone you love.

Whilst you don't realise it, the only other person feeling worse than you right now will be your other dog. He'll be lost and will need lots of extra love for a while.

He doesn't understand yet but she was way more dependant on him as he was 2yrs older.
I'm kinda glad she wasn't alone and had her big brother until the end.

Re: A-League season 2015-16

First soccer game I've been to...

Stood on the Hill right behind those back of animals.

I've lost my voice from cheeering!!!

Nothing better when they all turned around and we started chanting twoooooooooo oneeeeeeeeeeeeeee (score at time)

However that atmosphere was amazing - obviously will never be matched unless another GF comes along but no more bagging out soccer from my end.

United fan has been born.

Now for some more berocca...

Re: Adelaide Footy League Division 7 - 2018

Will be very interesting to see how OSB and Marion go here.

An excellent move by both clubs, although I feel bad for Northern teams playing at OSB...
